It was an audition that confirmed her role in 'Shuddh Desi Romance', where she shared screen with Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra.                                                           After her film debut, Vaani then acted in a Tamil romantic comedy film, 'Aaha Kalyanam' which was a remake of Band Baaja Baraat .
